I got the half a circle frame from a guy that had it for a hog hut. It had rusty old tin on it, and was rusted and dirty. I wish I had taken pics of it before I took the tin off. Anyway, I have some nice white sheet metal I am gonna make a roof out of, and I am gonna paint the top half front and back white. I think I am gonna stain the wood trim on the sides and then seal it real good. The windows have hardware cloth in them, and the shutters over the windows have 1/8" plexi glass in them. I have to make a window to put in the back, but it is mostly done. I will take more pics as I get it closer to being finished. It is gonna be a little purtier than my other coop, lol....

P.S. You can see my next project in the background, lol...gonna make my wife a 3.5' x 4' coop for a trio of seremas she wants to get. I am not gonna leave it 6'3" tall, I am gonna chop it down to 2 foot walls with a gambrel roof, so it will match her bigger coop. Gonna paint it the same as her other coop, but I am gonna make half the roof hinge up to make it easier to access.

That's a nice coop. And you must be a very nice husband to build a special coop for your wife's seramas. Once you start building it's hard to stop, isn't it?

Thank you, Lol, my wife knows she is loved. I built her an 8' x 8' coop (8' tall), I made myself a smaller coop out of a metal building that is 5'x6', I am currently building myself this coop, another 5'x6' and then I am gonna build her a 3.5'x4' coop for a few seramas...it is nice, I have always enjoyed building...

That is a very nice, and creative use of what you had to work with. I do not have the vision to see something out of nothing, and i love to see the things people create like that

. I almost didnt bring it home, I was told it was clean, no rust or anything...the tubing that framed in the doorway was rusted nearly in half and the tin on the sides had a bunch of rust holes in it, it looked bad when I bought it, lol....but I got it for free so I cant complain...I am gonna try to get the roof on it today, along with the chicken door, and the back window, leaving only a couple nest boxes and a place to hang the feeders....and some paint....
