My new Donkey Barn and DONKEYS AND GOATS

Very adorable! And the barn looks amazing!

Though it might not be a good idea to keep an unaltered buck with your does all the time. They look like pygmies (or chunky Nigerian Dwarves), and those breeds both breed year round. That means he can impregnate them their first heat after giving birth (they go into heat rather quickly afterward). As you can imagine, continuous back to back breedings are rather bad for a doe's health. Also, he can successfully breed any daughters when they reach their first heat, which happens at an age much too young for a healthy pregnancy.

When I had just one goat buck, I had a wether (a neutered goat) to keep him company. Now I have two bucks who are companions. Does are only exposed during a planned breeding. I wouldn't breed a doe who wasn't up to it.
