My new members of the flock.

so happy to welcome my new flock members. Unfortunately there was a situation in the field next door with a rabbit and a fox that caused the hen to leave her nest to ensure the safety of her two living chicks. This did mean she left the nest with a total of eight other eggs that didn't make it. However I am still proud I have these two new additions.
