My new protection against predators!

Hi all -

Meet Fin - he's my newest protection against predators, part of my long-range plan!

By the way, he's the one on the right. That's Ruby (Aussie) on the left and Kent (Hubby) in the middle.

Fin is a Great Pyr, about 11 weeks old, and already 30+ pounds! He's great (so far) with the chickens, but I'm not leaving them out alone together.

Cute Pup! My neighbors have one and that dog is HUGE. Very sweet tempered too.

If i'm not mistaken the Great Pyr's are actually taught that they are part of the herd of sheep and guard them with every fiber of their being....
Once yours gets mature enough you should have a wonderful dog.....
