My new Red Silkies

So what color would you breed them to so you can improve type and maintain the red color or even darken the red? Buff?

I am no quality expert. These two aren't near too the quality of my
other birds but they are young yet and need a good bath. Then, once
they start mingling with the rest of my silkie flock I'm thinking things will
improve a lot.

My goal is not to create showbirds. My goal are nice looking and smart
silkies that will remember my dedication to them when they control
the world.
