My new Roo

[Lyons chickens]

Meet Shelby. Named after the character from Steel Magnolias. I hope Shelby is an Ok name for a roo because he's a boy! My question is about the breed. He was in with the other Welsummer chicks and our granddaughter chose "her" because she had different markings so we could tell them apart. (Our first experience with baby chicks!) So I think he's a RIR. 12 weeks old.
