You could look up sanctuaries or put an add in the paper. I knew a woman who's friend had a farm near me. She wanted to give an extra rooster to a good home. That is how I acquired my BO rooster. She asked that I send her pictures via text so she could see him and how he was doing (I would have requested the same) because you want to make sure he's going to a good home.. not a stock pot.
