My new Rooster im very excited!!!!!

Hi all this is my new rooster.
He is a purebred New Hampshire Roo named "Big Red".
His absolutly beautiful!!!!
His sure fixed those bossy Leghorns

Your hens didn't attack him? I tried putting my new young roo in and it didn't work - they attacked him and gave him a bloody comb and wattle. Maybe he's too young? 17 weeks?
How old is yours?

My guy is about 10mths old.
The hens had never seen a big roo before so it came as a shock that unlike the banty roo he wasnt going to take any nonsense.

some of the hens are still in pretty bad shape from when i got them for the eff factory but they are getting better

Feathers are growing back and they are enjoying their days out picking.
