So I was noticing that the frame pen I made was not small and not big... the sulcatas finnsied all the grass and I new I had to make the pen LARGER to help accomidate all the grass they eat, so I Built a new pen. The pen is 48 feet by 72 feet. Here are the pics and video..

P.S. They all started breeding, or at least try to start breeding...

That looks like tortoise Paradise! What kind of tortoises are they?

What a neat place for them! I have always loved tortoises and would love to have one someday before I get too old to enjoy it! I have even asked my daughter if she would take it when I die! lol

Beautiful enclosure and tortoises! My brother has some sulcatas, he has a nice enclosure with a heated house. They are really fun to watch and move pretty fast.

When I was a kid, we used to have desert tortoises as pets. They would adopt us, rather than us adopting them. They would come in off of the desert to enjoy the greenery of our yards.

They loved plants like nastursiums and other soft green plants. We used to feed them sliced fruit and the soft new prickly pear pads. They loved the apple cores.

They are protected nowdays, so I guess we would have legal problems with that.
