My new Turkey poults....

On a whim I found myself bidding on 2 little Turkey poults at the auction last night

I know this one is a Black Spanish

But I am unsure of this one.... Wild Eastern? or something else?

With my luck they will probably both end up being toms, but they are so much fun to raise, I couldn't resist.

A little too early to tell... I say Narragansett... but don't hold me to that.

My narragansetts did not have that yellowish/orangish tone in their faces....hmmm.... let me see what I can come up with.

I hatched an Eastern Wild Turkey last year and this seems to look similar, but I just can't tell for sure.

Either Eastern Wild, Bronze, or Narri i think

Could be a mix..I have a RP hen and a black spanish tom...their eggs just hatched and I have 1 of each just like what you have....

I go to the Poultry auction on Wednesdays in Greencastle, Pa.

There were a couple adult Bronze turkeys at the auction too, so maybe. I will have to repost pics as it grows and see what everyone thinks then.
