Well since my Domsestic bibbed mallard drake's fav girl is broody, and setting on 18 eggs he has decided to move on. Since rehoming my two young drakes , he has become the only drake in a flock of 8 girls. That player! lol.
Anywho, he has now moved on to my cayuga female. Problem is - originally she and the black swed female have been inseperable. They still are now. Only difference is now my stinky 9 y/o geezer wont let the two be together. He "guards" the cayuga and hisses at my black swed.
Men! Coming between besties. Its kind of sad, but im sure that as soon as my magpie gets off her nest he will be with her - never giving her a moments peace. Just like before.
