My Parakeet has a crusty nose.... *pic*

I have a female parakeet that is a about 1 year old. She has a crust over her beak. I was wondering what I could do for her, It is dark brown but not runny. Any advice would be helpful thank you.

thats normal for breeding age female keets, turns brown or tan.

Just means she is in peak health, and ready to breed.

I had a male but he died last week so I got her a friend, it turned out to be a feamle( I know how to sex them now).

I knew right before I clickedon this picture that it must be a hen in breeding conditon and i was right. She's a very pretty girl! Hopefully you can find her a new man to make her happy!

Im sure she'll act snotty at first *maybe* but they'll pair up in no time.

There are cere mites, but they also attack the legs too, and the skin looks prous not wrinkly and dry.

Your girlie is just treated well is all
