hi group,my 2 peacocks are now 15 months old,and are now starting to grow a tail.
i know that it takes 3 years for a full tail to develope, but was wondering, what size tail should i expect next year?
anyone got any pic of a 2 year old peacocks tail?
thanks

Here is a photo of one of my males at 18 months old, he is growing new train now and it is the prettiest thing i ever seen

My other male is getting his first train and he turned a year old in sept of this year .

I think peas develope at a different rate sometimes and some may develope more of a train than others at the same age.

that is one special peacock.......note his color in his chest....thinks thats whats call a halfside in parakeet......more likely one of a kind...one side is one color other side another, looks like blackshoulder other side barred wing ???????? VERY NICE !!!

Thanks Deerman

I’m from AU and we still don’t have blackshoulder.

This boy is loud pied(us name) and we call that type of birds reverse pied.

Yes i knew where from, and your people do call them rev, pied.

Now that peacock looks like in the pic. black chest and blue.....even his train each side different color .......so the bird if different from any other rev. pied...really thing "one of a kind"
