My peahen got out will she come back?

I got a two DNA sexed peachicks for a graduation present last year. They were a couple day old when I got them, well about a week later one died. So I just had the one, so I put her in with my lady amherst pheasants. Well she got out today, will she come back, right now she is sitting in the top of one of our trees. I heard that if you have peacocks through the winter they will stick around, is this true?
