My Peanut...runt or bantam?

I got this little one along with the others, I am sure it's a male, but he's so tiny! About half the size of the others. They are 8 day old brown leghorns. He doesn't seem to know he is small, though. Pushes his way right into whatever he wants. Eats like a piggy. All the others have wing feathers and his are just starting to come in. He loves to stand under the lamp and catch the rays. It's so funny.

I am not sure which he is but they are both so adorable. Congrats on the cute fuzzy butts. The pics. are great good job.

I would bet its a runt. If it feathers in slower than the others, i would go with runt. I felt my bantams feather in fast. But i got a runt once and it was way behind until the last few weeks before laying. I remember because i worried the eggs would still be big and we would be in trouble. but it was ok and she is as big as she should be.

My guess is runt and she'll likely be fine.
