Joe, Your enclosure, though well protected, well ventilated, and very comfortable, Your peas did not like it, too much enclosed, too secluded does not look integrated with free open roaming area., can not find a way for an easy and safe escape, in case of a predator attack, Mine go inside in situations of unusual weather, simply because one side is completely open (only 3 sides and top enclosed.), for their free passage, air and ventilation and light.in and out and they can see,and scan the entire area all the time for any approaching danger if any.They may think that they are going into a prison. or a trap. This is only my opinion,not to put you down in any way.
