I have been raising my ringnecked pheasants since May of 2009, so they are 9 months old. One of my pheasants was fine two days ago, yesterday she was sitting around not walking, and today I found her dead. Anyone have an idea of what she could have died from that fast?

I'm sorry to hear about that

. What type of feed did you give to your pheasants? Are there any other clues you can provide that could help to maybe figure out why she died. I myself can relate to your situation i lost a female snow pheasant about a month ago. There are so many things that could of killed her so its not easy to say how she died. I'm sure other members will comment and give their opinion.

Hope this helps!

we've been feeding a mixture of corn, wheat, and oats......getting ready to start straight laying mash though. Thanks for your reply!
