My Polish are finally laying!

I never thought I'd see the day that I'd be excited about a white egg, but sure enough, today I went into the coop and found our very first WHITE egg! This can mean only one thing... our little Polish crested girls have FINALLY started laying!

I was so gosh darned excited I had to come in here and share with you all!

I've been thinking about getting polish - They are such beauties! The eggs in the basket are picture perfect

My Polish babies have been an absolute treat to own. It's worked out well, because they've been so much fun to have as pets we haven't been too worried about the fact that they didn't start laying right away. I'm glad they're finally laying now, though, and look forward to adding white eggs to our "rainbow".

Next on my list to acquire: Marans or Welsummers! lol
