I don't know how accurate it is but, I've heard male polish have rock star crests sticking out all over, while the females have a rounded poufy crest. You could visit some of the polish threads on BYC and ask people who raise them. I think one of the threads is called "Must speak polish."

They are beautiful chicks, I'm wondering if the odd colored one (white crested, black) would be the cockerel., since the white chicks look the same.
