(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? When I was younger in PR, my step father always had chicken. Not long ago, I started to think about those good times. Taking care of them and enjoying their company. Then I decided to get 2 when the cabin fever hit end of March and came home with 5.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 5. 4 beauties and 1 handsome roo.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Easter Eggers/Silkies.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? They make me feel happy when the depression starts to creep in.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
They have motivated me to go outside and build stuff.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I work way too much as a Supervisor for a department that works 10+ hospitals. I have 3 kids, one cat and a ferret. My Instagram is: @pollitolovers
