Peep and Nibbler weren’t fans anyway but Rio and Rudi love swimming. Been 90+ degrees with no rain for going on a month now and my pond is all dried up

All the mosquito fish we put in are dead and all the tadpoles are stuck in this little puddle

What is the water feed source for your pond? Not sure where you are located, but many areas have drought situations.
Not sure this is helpful, but if you are dependent on the water-shelf for the pond water, If you did dig up a hole near the last remaining water, would you have water there?? That would also make a deeper basin for upcoming dry periods and possibly save your mosquito control fish, and tadpoles from perishing. (next time)
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and :welcome

Water shelf and rain water is Really what fills it
Just no rain in forever. It’s been about a month since we got significant rain

Sorry to hear your pond dried up. Judging from the pics, the lush green trees around the pond don't help your situation.

Shallow ponds like that during a drought periods don't stand a chance. As posted above, you need to have a pond that is deep enough into the shallow ground water table, to withstand periods of no rain fall.

A spring feed pond would be ideal and would support all types of natural aquatic life for your ducks to enjoy. Water is life and unfortunately, money ends up being the key to fund the heavy equipment to dig and or a water drilling rig for a deep well.

Good luck and please keep us posted. :)

It has had a vibrant ecosystem with bugs and frogs and crawfish and a water snake. But this drought has killed it. My yard is now filled with frogs all over the yard since the pond is barren and dry now.

Hoping for some rain soon .

This yard has a million trees and the lot behind us is all trees. Riots all head towards the pond which doesn’t help.

Supposed to get some rain over night so hopefully it starts to refill
