Hmmm, I just read this thread and learned something new. I didn't realize that chickens (and maybe other birds) peck on wounds because they are attracted to the color. I happen to have Blu-Kote on hand for our goats and horse, but now I know that it is handy for treating our newly-acquired chickens and peafowl. Thanks for the info!
