My poults behaviour

Hi @Omotoboye Ade Welcome To BYC:frow

Can you post some photos?
What type of food are you giving them?

I don't know much about turkeys, so hopefully someone else will chime in.

I believe that poults will lose their "natal plumage" in the first week or two, these will be replaced by flight feathers. So...I would think what you are seeing is normal, but it's hard to know without some pics. (fwiw -chicken chicks start losing their down around 6-8days and start to grow "hard" feathers).

For food, I would make it available free choice during waking hours. If they have a light on at night, then make it available then too. With a light, I would think they would roam around at all hours just like chicks do in a lit brooder.

If you don't keep a light on at night, then they should be going to "bed" with a full crop - check them out to see about that.

Okay. I attached a picture.
