The Middle East
Hello! I have a three-four month old pullet and she’s not doing very well today, but I think it’s something ongoing. I lifted her and she was WAY lighter than her sister.
Today, she prefers sitting in the corner, or next to her twin sister. She doesn’t really want to walk. She eats and drinks. But the adult chickens are evil to her and won’t let her eat next to them. She’s pooping liquidy poo.
We live in the Middle East, the temperatures are somewhat like in Florida.
She is only vaccinated against new castle.
She’s making chirpy coo sounds.

Are you certain that she is getting enough to eat?
No. But I let them out when I found her. I spread some food in different spots so she would be able to eat. She ate for five minutes and went and set next to her sister (who kept eating)…

Could it be the heat?
Does she have her own food and waterer?
Have you tried a vitamin? Like B Complex
Have you tried giving her scrambled eggs?
I don’t think that’s the heat, because she’s not showing any signed that she’s hot. There are two water tanks and two food containers. Other than that they are free to walk in the back yard for a few hours everyday.
Five of the adult are leghorn, whom I find a bit bitchy, so it is very possible that once they finish the food in one spot, they go and eat the food from the other spot.
I haven’t given her vitamins, my father is a farmer, so they get fresh vegetables everyday though. I will go right now and give her scrambled eggs and vitamin b. I guess I should also get a new feeding bowl for her.
Thank you very much for your help.
