Hi. I'm new to chickens this year. I started my flock with 2 RIR and 2 Leghorns. They just turned 19 weeks old. I also have 2 Barred Rocks and 2 EE which are 17 weeks old. On Sunday my RIR's started laying. I now have 5 eggs.

My girls free range about 50% of the time and are fed Grower feed along with lots of treats like watermelon and dried meal worms.

My question is do I change their feed to Layer now or do I wait for the rest of the flock to start laying. I think 19 weeks is early. And do I start giving them Oyster shells.
