my pullets are roos so angry i thought they where pullets **pics**

anyway i made a post about my six month old chicks about whether they where hens or roos and absoluetly everyone said hens well i went up and found one of the crowing

any way just thought u might be interested here the pics .

I don't know that breed, but I don't see any hackle feathers or saddle feathers. Perhaps a better picture from the side view. A hen will crow

Sometimes hens do crow. I have a D'Uccle who crows from time to time - she lays eggs and goes broody - but also like to tell the boys they are not as great as they think.

One of my RIR hens is so loud you would swear she was a roo-if she hadn't been giving me eggs for the last year!

My friend bought a speckled sussex rooster from the last show we went to and those look like girls.

Hens for sure. Maybe your hen was crowing because you don't have a roo. It definitely happens though. Sure makes ya go
