I ended up doing this regularly, and not just with the dust at the bottom of the bag, but with the feed in general. These chickens are now 1 year old and I still do this every day - I mix a bunch of their feed with water to make it clumpy. They absolutely love it! I have a new batch of chicks and do the same for them, they love it too. It's our daily ritual now with both batches
