My quail is broody. Can it hatch quail chicks?

I discovered that my quail is broody today. I saw that she was sitting on the egg she laid so I put another one in her nest to see if she would put it under her and she did. Are broody quails able to hatch quail chicks?

Do you have a male quail? The eggs must be fertilized to hatch.

If it is fertilized and she has gone broody, yes but she may get off the nest in a few days, weeks or may set the whole incubation period, just depends on too many variables. Is she a Coturnix or another species?

She is a Coturnix with no male but I was wondering if I could buy hatching eggs and let her hatch them

You certainly could but I'd have an incubater set up and running just incase she doesn't continue to be broody or decides to quit brooding.
