ok well i may be going to see mum later so my flip them and look at vent butmy understanding is you are ment to wait till there 8 weeks old for accuracy
also 5 was last to hatch and is about 3/4 of the weight of the others but was smaller from day old

yeah i was aware at 4 weeks old what would you suggest as best method or should i just wait
also i dont know if that what you saw but number 5 has no gold at all and 4 may have a hint
what makes 2 not feather sexable is she not same colours as 1

It might be the light or my monitor. The spots look like a female, but I've had birds that look like that with a hint of red that turn full red in another week.

thanks guys the photos arnt the best btw i cant see nearly as much detail on screen
will probs just leave them be and look again once starting to either crow lay or mature enough to vent sex

you too have been tonnes of help in the last 2 days i have been on here

#2 isn't feather sexable, but it looks to me like #1, #4, & #5 are boys. #3 is most likely a girl. #5 might be a girl, but I'm seeing a bit of red coming in on the chest, so that's why I guess boy.

That's pretty much what I would guess. I'm not entirely sure on #5 though. I had one who looked like that and turned out to be a girl, but it could still be a boy. Might have to wait a little longer for that one :)
