My quails neck is bleeding

So I've just gone to feed and water my quails and I've just noticed that one of my brown quail (I have 4 brown, 3 white) is bleeding behind his head/neck. I'm guessing it's been pecked, it's weak and don't know what to do or who did it. I saved them from being killed and by doing so I have no idea whether they are all males or all females or anything. They are living content atm and none seem aggressive but clearly something happened. My question is what do I do to help my poor injured quail, he's so weak and is bleeding and how to I prevent this in the future?

Without a picture, it is a little hard to tell, but first things first: separate him/her, warm him up, and assess the bleeding. If there is an open wound, clean and cover it. If it isn't too serious, it will likely heal in a couple days. Pictures would definitely help.

Put up some pictures of the birds and the sick bird and we can tell you what you have going on. Really hard to guess without pics though.
