My rabbit is nesting. And is really serious about it.

Hi I think my one year old rabbit is going three a false pregnancy, she is starting to act strange. She is kicking hay in her water bowl and is taking all the hay I put in there she takes it to one spot like she is making a nest. She is really serious about it. There is no way she could actually be pregnant because I do not have any other rabbits. Is there anything I should do for her. Is this really a false pregnancy.

Is this really a false pregnancy.

Probably not. Does don't "go into heat" like some animals, but they do have cyclical hormone fluctuations. Does at a hormonal peak may chin things, grunt, pull fur, make nests, raise their backsides up when you pet them . . . or do nothing unusual at all.

My Bunny is doing the same. She has a really nice nest made out of her fur and not pregnant either. I just left it as it is..She isn't acting any different besides the nest built.
