My re-purposed coop (pics)

I have spent all spring and summer working on this project. First time chicken owner. Everyone is locked up tight at night and seems to be thriving. The big girls free range during the day when I am off of work, 3 days on and 3 days off. Next spring adding a better run with hardware cloth and barn side paneling. I have planted around the coop so it should look nice next year. Dirt floor, plan on using deep liter method.







Truck cap, 8 ft pallets raised off of ground with landscape bricks, fencing from and old deck, old century 21 4x4, roof is a larger walk in Cooler door, neighbor remodeled and gave me doors and windows.

Great recycle ! Very inventive. U should add on Ugly coops thread...not because its ugly but because u recycled so well. Inspiration to others.

That is so stinkin' clever! I am constantly amazed at how people on here are creative enough to think of a new purpose for a discarded item. I find myself wishing I had an old truck cap..............
