My red sex link has started to lay round eggs that are quite large and have texture to the shell. This is abnormal for her as she to my knowledge laid normal shaped eggs before. She is a mature hen. The first one came and it did have a soft spot where it also had a small bulge. She has laid a total of three so far. Is this normal for this breed?
