Thank you everyone for the help. I will try and get a picture tomorrow today when I looked at the chicken, but couldn't catch her it almost looks like she has an egg trying to come through. I have 12 other chickens, but they all seem to get along fairly well have never rely had any serious aggression like I've heard from other chick folk. Any ideas of an easy way to catch them as even though I raised her from a baby she's an Astralop by the way none of mine will come right up to me. Do u get a net or what

Try to get them use to.no nets!


Its very hard.You should begin by pouring treats around you and
Talking to themThen after that,bring it to your hands(feeeding).
Be sure your talking to them.
In the past have you did nets or as young chicks you were rouch etc?

Just wait until she is up in the roost at night, and grab her firmly with one hand on each side so that her wings can't flap, then lift and tuck her like a football. That's the only way I can get some of my birds. I'm hoping the ones I raised from hatch won't be as timid.
