My RIR is FINALLY a mom!

She's been trying to go broody all spring and when we went out of town for a few days she finally had her chance.

My RIR rooster died earlier this spring, owl or coyote, so these are Brahma crosses but I'm sure they will be nice eggs layers

These guys also hatched... since there is also an Ameraucana rooster running around the yard I think I have some homemade EEs

We keep breeder pens for all the stock we sell but since all these were just for our personal egg consumption they've all been running loose in the yard together.
