My RIR Roo mounted my Muscovey female duck 5 times today!!!

I know this is a really dumb question but, can chickens breed ducks? I have never heard of it. Why was he mounting her?

I used to have a Bullterrier that would mount our sheep. I was always hoping something would come of it. Self guarding sheep would have been great.

think how wonderful it'll be haivg a roosters who only makes the noise a male muscovy make when the rooster crow, the neighbors will never know you even have chickens
