That's an understatement. With spurs, it's more likely he'll puncture. And you can seenwhat they walk in, do you really want to risk those germs being stabbed into your leg?

In all the years my family kept chickens, the only one that ever attacked a person was a bantam polish rooster. Jumped right at my mom's face, and the only thing that saved her from injury was the water jug she blocked with. The spur ripped a 3" gash in the jug with an audible "pop."

We locked that roo out of the coop that night, and let the dog have him that night. It was quick.
