My rooster is making a strange noise

it’s probably no big deal (I hope), but since I first checked on the chickens this morning, my rooster has been making an odd noise. It’s a soft noise and he seems like he does it with every breath. It’s occasionally punctuated with a sharp squeak, almost like a hiccup. He hasn’t stopped all morning. Could he possibly have a respiratory infection or something? Everything else seems normal. I posted a video:

Hmmm. How is he doing now? The 'sharp squeak' you described is a sneeze.
It could be respiratory, or its possible he might have something stuck in his throat or inside his nostrils.

Try to gently open his beak and check down his throat that is obstructing his normal breathing. Also check his nose and eyes for any discharge.

Is he eating and drinking normally? How is his poop?
You could try to gently massage down his throat and you could also try feeding him some bread soaked in vegetable or olive oil to help dislodge anything that may be lodged in his esophagus.

No discharge, eating, drinking, and poop seem normal. I’m going to go try the bread in olive oil. Thank you so much.

I know you posted this in 2019 and probably won't see this but how did your roster turn out?? Mines doing the same thing now
