So, I have about 16 week old chickens and ducks. I raised them together, but recently my rooster keeps mounting my drake. I usually push my rooster off since I don't want him hurting my drake. Is this normal if I have two male birds? Is there something I should watch for or do to stop this?

It's a dominance thing. Your rooster wants to rule the roost and part of that is making other males submit to him. I'd be more worried about the maturing drake becoming a problem. Don't keep him with chickens long term. You raised him with chickens, so he sees them and himself as the same kind, and if he attempts to mate with them, he could cause some horrendous injuries and possibly kill them doing so.

Okay, thank you I'll keep that in mind.
