My SLW Girls are lovely but not nearly as pretty as your Breeding stock Rooster. My boy just looks like a mix rather than a SLW rooster. He is still handsome but I can see if I want to breed them I need better stock.

I love their feathers and that they look like chain mail. I guess their bodies are suppose to look like fat little heart shapes from the sides.

I am so new to chickens and these are my first. I guess I should order eggs from a breeder. It is tough to know what to do!

Maybe next spring I can try ordering better stock eggs from a breeder and let my girls hatch them for me!
