So excited to get my chicks from Sand Hill this morning. This is the third shipment I've received. The last time, it took too long for them to get here via regular mail and several of them were weak and dying. Paid for express mail this time and only one (out of 47) was doing poorly- well worth the extra money.
I received:
6 Spangled Russian Orloffs
22 Exchequer Leghorns
4 Black Leghorns
6 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes
6 Rose Comb Red Dorkings
3 Rose Comb Colored Dorkings
Some of these were substitutes.

I wanted to show a picture of one of the Orloff chicks, as there have been allegations that Sand Hill is passing off Speckled Sussexes as Orloffs, and that Sand Hill's Orloffs have pink feet. The Orloffs have a distinctive head/face, and as you can see, the feet aren't pink, they are yellow. Sorry the pic is blurry, but the feet are clearly shown.
