My second grader's teacher called the house on Sunday

to tell him she got her first egg!!! I am so jealous!

And happy he has made a real connection with her around our chickens! He had a really dreadful first grade experience and this year is turning out so much better!

that is awesome. i love that.
my son had a terrible teacher in the 3rd grade, so i sent him to summer school because i knew the teacher was an exceptional one and now he is back on track and loves his new 4th grade teacher. i think its great they have made that connection

That is really awesome!!! My son had a teacher in 6th grade that turned him around. This teacher had set up the Gentlemen's club and his wife had the Ladies Club. The only way you could join is to get good grade and participate in class. The best of the best were invited to a pool party at their house at the end of the school year. It made all difference for my son.
