my silkie has a poopy butt!!

my almost-adult silkie has a poopy butt and i'm not sure what to do. should i bring her in the house and clean her? how do i clean her? i've been finding a soiled egg now and again but never can figure out who done it . . . looks like it may be her. suggestions would be most appreciated.

A few of my hens have the same problem.I don't think I can do anything about it till spring,it's too cold out now...

Yep, just bring her in and wash her bum off. You can give them a bath, just dry them out well and trim down the feathers that are getting poopy!

My leghorn has that problem. When it was REALLY cold out, I brought her in and sprayed her butt off. Then I let her sleep inside so she wouldn't freeze to death. I just let her sleep in a cardboard pet box. She had no complaints.
