My silkie has a Single Comb!

Just noticed that my silkie roo looks different from the other roo my grandmas friend has HE HAS A SINGLE COMB NOT A WALNUT COMB!! Well on to the question about breeding I'm breeding him to some Wyandottes and some silkies this spring and someone said that the Feathered leg, Crested, and 5 toe genes are dominant....is the single comb too? I want my Wyandotte chicks to keep their rose comb gene since its pretty cold here in utah.

A friend recently hatched some silkies with single combs too.

The good news is, I read on a Wyandotte thread that single combed birds are thought to be more fertile than rose comb birds.
