My Silkie was pecked so hard

She won't eat and it appears she has a concussion, she is isolated but we will watch her close . What do we do ?

this happens a lot with silkies - some have vaulted skulls that haven't hardened over completely. They are especially vulnerable to head injuries.

Thanks for the input ! She moved on to chicken heaven as we had a burial for her . Kids were sad but they are learning how to deal with life and death of a loved one . That Silkie really had a place in our heart .We hope to get another one down the road as we have 6 now . Peace and the kindest regards
