my silkies layed!!!

my silkies are 8 mo old now. 1 or 2 of 4 pullets laid 2 eggs and i was woundering when can i expect them to start brooding? Should i leave false eggs there?

Thank goodness they finally started laying let alone go broody!!! Believe me, as they get older, you will wish they didn't go broody as often as they do!!

actually they *haven't* shown any signs of going broody.
my Q was when will they start brooding now that they've layed an egg?
