Actually I think 2 were born late on Saturday night but that's close enough. Here are a some pics The one on the far left in the first pics is rumpless. Had to clean him/her up a little bit for the pic so the rump is a little wet.

was rumpless a pasty butt? I had a couple pasty butts and when I got rid of it I pulled some of their fuzz off. I felt so bad cause it cried a little.

It wasn't an actual pasty butt. The vent wasn't blocked. It was more that there was poop just below the vent in the fuzz. If it keeps up I'll just trim those feathers with some nail scissors a bit. The angle of the vent seems different than the others and when it poops the poop hits the fuzz below the vent if that makes sense. I just got the feathers wet with a q-tip and used an old tooth brush with very soft bristles to comb it out. Didn't hurt the chick.

I have no idea of the lineage of these bird other than BR and EE. I know the roo is an EE and one of the hens is EE, but the other 3 hens look like barred rocks but lay greenish and pinkish brown eggs.
