My Tom starting to puff PLEASE ANSWER VERY CURIOUS

Whenever I whistle, it gets my toms attention. He puffs and gobbles. Always so curious about me but when I pick him up its freak out city. Any idea why my whistling triggers the weird puffing and squawking? Still such a baby and this is the first time I've heard him squawk (1 month)

I know the kids screaming will caused our tom to gobble. It is really funny to listen to the police or fire sirens go off, then the neighbors dogs then our dogs then "the mayor" I am not sure what causes it but we are guilty of making of trying to get him to do it more. He shows his self at the same time.
