My Toms are Obsessed with Me - Is this Normal Behavior?

I bought my 4 Narragansetts at just 2 days old. They are now 6 months old. I ended up with 3 toms and 1 hen. My toms are so incredibly sweet to me. But they are obsessed with me. The dominant one has now started pecking on my glass door looking for me in the morning. They all hang around lounging on the deck waiting for me to walk outside. The moment I go outside, they follow me around non stop until I go back in the house. One will even stay with me until after dark until I physically put him up. They will not allow me to pick up any of my chickens without running them off. They no longer let my Livestock Guardian dogs around me without trying to kick them. They are now at the point where if I hug one or show one more attention than the other, they will start pecking each other out of jealousy. And today I think one tried to mate with me while I was sitting in the yard with them.

That freaked me out. Is this normal? I have a Aussie which is a velcro dog and he is not as bad as my toms are. I don't think they realize they are turkeys..either that or they think I am one, lol...

Turkeys are flock animals and imprit on people. Mine see me as their feede and follow me around too. Today one of our her turkeys wasjumping up and trying to reach some leaves on a tree, when my husband walked up on her and she jumped, looked like she was caught doing something she know she was not allowed to do and ran away blushing!

I love my turkeys. They have never tried to mate with me, but I am nerver still enough for hem to try!

They are quite the characters, aren't they??! I can have the worst day on earth, but they always make me smile and laugh with their antics. They gobble when they see me pull up in my car. And I have literally had them chase me down my driveway following after the car. It has definitely been a learning experience for me because I had no idea how personable turkeys can be. This is a pic of them this morning with Freedom waiting for me by the door. Crazy creatures, lol...

Our first Tom was sweet on my wife like that. She hand feed him and would pet and scratch him. It's one reason why we got more.
Get more hens, that might help.

Yes, I believe I will try to find a couple more hens. What is unusual is that they really do not pay the hen any attention at all. They all hang together, but they never strut or show off around her. They must be saving their energy for me, because as soon as they see me it is non stop strutting and drumming.
