Aww yes they are awesome pets these are my first turkeys as well an not flipping them or anything just picking them up an seeing if they lift their legs up or let them hang was the post on another turkey site.

So just picking them up can hurt them? I'm not talking about venting them or anything just picking them up

Picking them up improperly can hurt them. There are videos of people picking them up by the head for the hanging leg test. Some people have injured their poults by following those videos.

Even picking them up properly, the hanging legs method does not have any value in determining sex.

Do not hold a poult as demonstrated in that video. It can be harmful and the claim that it will determine the sex for you is false.

Thats what I was saying I didn't figure it would tell anything but I would never pick up any animal by their head.
